Test Coming up must study!

So I got test coming up in both my classes, my micro biology test isn't till the 10th of September but you will be seeing all the charts that I've been given to study. I figure that if I type all the charts I'll figure it out a lot more easily.  But I've got a parsitology test Thursday but a got a good study guide I hope so with that I will be doing a lot of life cycles to learn what I need to for the class hope it works.

On Monday I got to play with Gram Negative Rods on agars and they aren't fun to smell thats for sure. Although it was really cool to see and I had fun looking at them wish I had pictures to show you what they look like.

Well I guess that's all for now hope to show you guys more of what I am learning now that we are getting close to finals and all.

So I had fun in Microbiology today got to look at more agars and then I got to make my own colonies of Sterp pneumonaie something like that. Next I got to make my own culture. I did my ear so I could see what was growing doubt there would be much. Can't wait to see it on Monday I might take a picture of it. Anyways I was interested to see what type of stuff was in the ear it'll be fun to see. On another note I got an 80% on my Micro test so yay now if I can keep that up we will be getting an A in this class yay!

So Microbiology, had a great time today okay not so much. I did have a test today which was okay on the amount of effort I had to put into at least until I got to the questions for RACE and PASS I couldn't remember for the life of we what they meant so I took a guess. Aww well hopefully I will only lose those eight points for those two items but then again I could have missed more.

Although on a good note I got my quiz back from last week and I got a 28/30 only thing wrong was I mixed up two things that I got correct on my homework which would've been an easy fix on there if I had noticed it. Aww well there's always next time isn't there?

So another day done and another day at work and school. Class was fun but you know it's great to be home  with no one bothering you for stuff you can't control. Aww well anyways in microbiology I got to swab my throat, well  I did my cheek, but that's only because if I stuck the thing down my throat I would of gagged. Aww well it was pretty interesting though. I'll have to tell you more about the lab on monday.

So it's been a long day. Had fun with some of my favorite kids and then had to go to school. Now here's the fun part parasitology we learned about what kind of stuff we would be looking at and it literally grossed me out. My teacher kept saying "you all look like your ready to pugue" so yeah I defiantly felt like it. My teacher was talking about wet mounts, thin and thick slides of the specimen I'm so glad I didn't eat before class I know I would have thrown up if I did.  Then guess what we get to look at stool samples on Tuesday for lab that'll be fun. Not really looking forward to class on Tuesday but hey it's part of my job so gonna have to learn from it.

Now microbiology is fun but I have a test on Monday so I gotta finish the homework and study for it well it's the first test for the quarter so I need to start off well. Especially if I need to redeem myself for last quarter which was horrible and I was doing so well.

Aww, well this quarter is about refocusing on my school work so it never happens again. Well here we go again. Stress level is about to go up or down depending on how well I do on the test.

Okay another day down but tonight I had Parasitology  and I saw the wierdest things that really creeped me out. It was a little gross too. What I'll be doing in this class is looking at feces, blood samples and other body fluids so it should be fun. But I know I will have a hard time with the idea of looking at stool samples all quarter at least micro biology is safer then that. But it should be fun.

First day of Class.

So I had a pretty good start to my day. What can you say when your excited about not having to go to work and only have to worry about School now that is fun. My name is Guadalupe, but people call me Lupe. I am currently attending Med Tech College working on my Medical Lab Technology Associate Degree. I got back into for several reasons one of them being that I want to make my self better than what I am right now. I am currently not happy with the hours at my current job and am ready to make a career change. So now I am at Med Tech trying to get my degree. I've been there for a year now and it's been the best thing I have spent money on lately. Can't wait till i'm done.

Right now this quarter I have two classes they Microbiology and Parisiteology/Mycology do it'll be a pretty tough quarter especially now that I somewhat know what is included but I think it'll be interesting to see what I learn. Can't wait it'll be fun.

I will tell you more as the days or weeks go on it'll depend on what I want to blog on during the week.
