Challenges...oh those pesky little things we call Challenges. Originally my title for this post was timing but as I sat down to begin typing the post I realized that I really didn't have anything on timing. Now these last couple of weeks were bad and although I had a really hard time I've came out of those challenges for the better.
First and the far worst were the challenges of work. I ended up with a lot of work to do. I had to focus which for a while I wasn't. The focusing came at a time where I felt like nothing could ever be fix that no matter what I did I was nothing but a stupid person. Now I know what your all going to say and yes I am very hard on my self. I had people on my left and right telling me how to do this and how to do that. That is the hardest part. Then I also had people on the other end asking me why I really want a higher position in the company. I won't go into much detail about that I'll save that for another post.
My second challenge these past few weeks have been with family. Most of the time I work night shifts and I'm rarely don't get home before close to midnight depending on the night. I don't always get my stuff done until Thursday which is my usual day off. I came to a big life decision that day now I just have to go after it. Usually during the summer months I take off Wednesdays or just add Thursday to my regular line up to my schedules.
My third challenge has been trying to get out of my comfort zones. You see I'm a texter. It is usually best if you text me or I text you. Calling people unless your family is not my strong suit. Heck I hate calling the car company for my car bill it's not fun. Most of the time I don't need to now cause I pay the whole thing off. I'm slowly getting under the 10,000 mark not there quite yet but it's getting there.
All those challenges are just the tip of the iceberg or as a coworker of mine said it's a rock that I just keep chipping away at. Slowly but surely I'm getting there This past weekend I went to a business builders conference in Michigan and learned a lot. I learned that fear was the only thing holding us back from the potential we all had. Another thing I was humbled by some of the things they said. I don't always follow though with everything I say I'm going to do. Heck my sister had to keep reminding me about a claim I had to put in. There's a lot of things that I learned and I'm definitely know that my ideas are going to be put into use. How though I don't know I'll figure it out I always do.
There are many more challenges ahead and I can't wait to charge at them and see what I can accomplish with them. Until then I'll face everyone I arrive at. One day all these challenges will lead to something great and I can't wait.
As always until next time,
Lupe

The Long Road to Recovery
Happy Spring,
Hey Spring arrived right on time and with spring comes Allergy season. This past two weekends I have been dealing with runny noses, stuffy noses, and a horrible cough. The cough I've had since probably about August which was the last time I was really sick. I know I should really get it checked out. Anyways my allergies tend to get the best of me when I'm not intentionally aware. Now that the temps are adjusting to something that I can handle a little better than -7 degrees like we had that one day at work I'm feeling much better. I still have that annoying . itchy, stuffy nose and the cough but I don't feel as tired as I was this past weekend.
The last couple of weeks have been hard. To add on to this whole I haven't been feeling well, my week at work last week was not the best. So now I'm on a tight rope barley hanging on. I'm getting back to myself although it's not as fast as I would like but I'll get there.
Lately I haven't really been as happy. It's been rough at home and I finally decided for mine and Celine's health that we will find somewhere else to live. I'm not in an ideal financial situation for this but I'm trying to. I've gotten into a depression as well and it really hasn't helped with work or home so I also decided it's time to see a councilor. If I misspelled it I'm sorry. Anyways for my health I need to do this. Hopefully this will help. I want to be able to take care of my dog to the best of my ability and take care of myself.
So I'll give this a try and see what happens. I'll give you a report again next week to see where I'm at.
Take care,
Lupe

Last 3 years
Wow it's been a couple of years and lots of things have happened since the last time I wrote. Since August 2016 I have been on this little journey to find myself with finally finishing college and trying to find a new job in my field of study it wasn't easy. I don't know what it was but I could never find anything so I kept my job at target at that time.
During that time I got a new car in October of 2016 and began working on my credit a little more heck i'm still working on it. Anyway the car gave me leeway to start looking at another career path in Nov of 2016 I went to a open interview with Chick fil a and I applied. At the time I only wanted part time work so I could add to what I was making at Target. I started working at Chick Fil a in January of 2017. I never expected what I saw in the next nine months of working two jobs at the same time. There was a big difference between the two jobs. It gave me a new appreciation for myself. For the first time in a long time I felt more and more happy with what I was doing. The confidence boost man that was something I thought I would never have. After the nine months I couldn't take working two jobs anymore. I didn't sleep well and had a hard time keeping up and with no Sundays off from target I never got to see my family. I had a choice to make at that time. I wanted more. I had to decide between what I already knew and the new things that I was learning. I wanted to be out of Target more than anything I didn't want to continue somewhere where I felt I had no room to grow. All my friends were gone. So I made the biggest decision of my life. I left Target and decided that I wanted to spend more time growing at Chick fil a. Although I have to say it was probably one of the best decisions of my life.
For the last two years I've been pursuing a higher position at Chick fil a. It's been a rough road with a lot of up and downs. I've been in a fight with myself and others just to get where I am now. I know I couldn't of done it without the support of my friends at work. They are my biggest supporters they know what I'm capable of and what I can be. Those three have helped me tremendously by sitting down and speaking with me or just giving me encouragement. Really at this time I could use all the encouragement I can get.
My family now that's another thing that has grown again. My second great niece was born in 2017 she is an adorable little girl and will be turning 2 in April. Layla is becoming her own self she is going to be 4 soon. My step sisters and brothers have had several more kids so my dad has been busy too. Jt is going to be 11 in May. Micheal and Jessica are still with Chick fil a and doing their own thing. Heck Micheal has a girl friend now and she is adorable I love her. Marta is still doing her own thing and raising Layla.
My older sister and brother in law decided to breed their papillon and their crocker spaniel in early 2018 by June we were pretty sure the papillon was pregnant. When my sister took her to the vet the vet told her and my brother in law they had about two weeks till the puppies were born. This was in mid to late June when they were told this. We were waiting on the puppies to arrive those two weeks went painfully slow. Anyways on July 6th Stella started having her puppies. Of course she was having them right as I was going to work so I had to wait till I got off to go see them. I was so excited cause I was getting one of the puppies. I been wanting one for years and with working at chick fil a I was able to take care of her a lot more easily. Oh you best believe I called dibs on one of the girls. Stella ended up with four puppies. We have Zena, Celine, Pepe, and Zoey. When my sister said she had two girls already I knew one of them was going to be mine. Anyways I finally got my puppy at the end of August 2018 her name is Celine she is so cute and pretty much a clone of her mother Stella. Celine is now 8 months old and is typical puppy wants to play and chew and bite. I love her so much.
My family is continuing to grow faster then I expected. But me becoming pregnant anytime soon as much as I would like to no. Anyways 2018 came as a big blow to me and my sisters. We kept trying to do things and just couldn't keep up. To say the last few months of 2018 were horrible was an understatement.2019 seems to be going well for us and it looks like it's turning around for all of us.
No matter what I know I'm going places and now I am more confident than ever that I will go further then anyone else thought I would ever go.
Until next time,
Lupe

Summer Fun
So it's been a very long time. I'm sorry for the wait. This year is flying by so fast. Can't believe it. I've been busy with trying to find a new job and everything Jessica did for school. We helped a lot this year.
Jessica finished High School June 8th, 2016. Her Show Choir days are over but we at least can say that her team new dimension ended up with a third place trophy this year. My family and I were so proud of her and her friends.
Micheal is still working at Chick-fil-A and is getting ready to move out of his parents house. Hope he's ready. I definitely couldn't be prouder of him.
Now Jt is going into the third grade it's so exciting can't wait to see what he learns. We also got a new puppy his name is Jasper and Jt has loved every minute of it. Jasper is so cute.
Janet, Josey and I are planning a few things to happen in the next two years so excited. We're thinking cruises. Although I don't know where I would go. Janet on the other hand does. So we'll see what happens.
I'm getting ready for this weekend to get my copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I can't wait my niece and me are going after I get off work. And in September I'm going to go see the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra play the film score for the first movie. Neat right. Now that we are mostly through the year I'll be officially opening my Etsy shop in September. I am putting all my faith in this and hope that it works. See you later.

Wow it's been a couple months. Layla Rose was born on June 5th, 2015. She is currently four months come tomorrow. She's a beautiful little girl. Marta is just amazing with her. Jessica has started her senior year and it's been a bit of a struggle but she's a fighter so I know she'll make it through.
Jt is now in second grade. He loves it. This kid just loves every thing. He's been doing tackle football this year and that's been a lot of fun. Jt's been growing so fast, this is him at one of his football games.

Now my nephew Micheal still working at Chick Fil A and is now a manager. He's grown so much.
As for me I'm still looking for a new job and still trying to get my craft store filled with plenty of stuff to sale. I've also gotten into stamping it's been so much fun just need to get more stuff to do a lot of the cool techniques I've seen on YouTube.
With Christmas right around the corner I'm getting stuff together for that. Can't wait to start making my ornaments and my cards this year. Busy season is upon me can't wait to see what happens.

Oh no too much to do so little time.
Wow it's the middle of April. Aghh...the year is going by so quickly. I still got so many goals for the year. Like I said last time I have been very busy the first three months of the year were going to be busy.
Well my niece Jessica didn't make it past the Shelbyville show choir contest but I got a good picture of her that day. Well the one that she said was good to her. Made me laugh though.
Well my niece Jessica didn't make it past the Shelbyville show choir contest but I got a good picture of her that day. Well the one that she said was good to her. Made me laugh though.
Next was the baby shower for my niece Marta and baby Layla. That was the craziest day we have had in a very long time. It was full of stuff that we had to get done. I had a lot to get done myself. I kinda got suckered into the running around town for the day. I didn't mind it was fun but stressful. We barely got everything together on time but all in all the baby shower turned out very well. Marta got a lot of stuff from us and she was excited. I think Marta has one more shower and she'll be ready for baby Layla. So we got seven or six weeks left so I really can't wait till Layla gets here.
These two pictures were my favorite ones from the baby shower. Wow that was a busy beginning to the year. Now we come to April. What a month it's been. It started with Josey's and Mikey's it was fun to bad I didn't get to go to Gray Brother's. (I really don't know how the restaurant's name is spelled but I think I'm close.) I'll tell you what it's a wonderful restaurant to go to.
This past weekend I had off from work. Reason graduation and opening day for baseball which my little JT is playing in. It was the most exciting weekend I've had in a while. I didn't walk at the graduation ceremony only because I couldn't miss JT's first baseball game and I just wanted to be with my family.
Apparently watching JT's game wasn't the only thing that we were going to do that day. Even though I didn't walk my family surprised me with a surprise graduation party for me. I just thought we were going to go drop off information for my dad and go to another restaurant. Next thing I know I'm looking up to see decorations on the house. To say I was surprised was an understatement. My sister's were happy I didn't cry. Even though I came really close. I'm sensitive what am I supposed to do anything that has such a touching meaning literally I just cry. So we started the party and enjoyed it.
All in all I still have a lot to do this year. Still working on the three goals I have for this year but I feel like I'm being pushed towards a very special time in my life and hope that it is God's will for this part of my life to start. All I've got to remember is to have patience. Patience, Patience, Patience.

2015 is the year
Goodness it's been so long since I've blog it's not even funny. I apologize for not blogging for so long. What's happened the last three years? A lot and to tell you the truth I felt like a failure. I didn't want to write about my failures of the classes I had to retake over again that wasn't what I originally intended this blog to be. This blog was to maybe teach some people about what a Lab Tech really does in their line of work. Unfortunately that didn't happen either. Although I do have to say the frustration, struggle and endless nights of study after 3 and 1/2 years are finally over. I finally graduated from Medtech on January 7th, 2015. I almost completely gave up but I finally managed to gain enough points to finally pass. Nine months of the same material was not too bad but the frustration of that last class was just I can't even find words for it, but I didn't quit though cause I was not going to let my family down.
Now if I could get my certification and then I'm ready to find a actual job where I can at least be home and not feel like I'm never able to be around my family. Although when I think about it I want to work at the hospital so I should be expecting somewhat the same schedule I have with target.
Now onto more fun stuff. I've decided that this blog will consist more about whats going on in my life and with my sisters. Okay I won't put everything about them but I'll definitely be talking a lot about my family. I've got so much to talk about this year is going to be an exciting one.
The first major event of the year happened in January, you may already know I've finally finished college. The next set of major events were my niece's Jessica Mae Clark's show choir competition season. Jessica has been in New Dimension for two years now and I have never seen her so passionate about anything except for softball. Although Choir has really brought my niece from the shy quiet girl that I once knew to a vibrant and beautiful young lady. This weekend it's off to Shelbyville for another contest. I can't wait. I'm so totally going to cry when she graduates from high school.
My nephew Michael has been out of school for almost a whole two years. In this time he has done so many things that I couldn't be prouder of. He started getting into music production and did that for a while, until he got his job. In just a few months he's climb his way up to team lead and seems to enjoy every minute of it.
Marta now she's been an amazing girl going through a lot. Now she has become such an amazing young lady that I can't even say much about this.
JT is growing like a weed. He is enjoying school and learning as much as he can with only being in first grade.
Now the next event we have going on is something I've kept quiet. I haven't been as excited about it as I would normally be but I'm getting there. We have a baby shower at the end of the month. That's right I'm going to be a great aunt. Layla Rose will be joining us sometime in May lets just hope the baby doesn't decide to come too early like JT did.
So I think we got the first three months figured out with all the events going on right now. April is also going to be a busy month I can tell already.First off we got Easter hopefully it won't be cold for it. Next it's Josey's and Micheal's birthday and then on April 18th is graduation day. I can't wait it's so exciting.
After all that what do I want to do with the rest of the year. I have so many plans that are going to take time lots of it. I am currently looking for a new job weather it be in a lab or somewhere else I don't know. My next goal for the year is something that I've been wanting for the last couple of years. As a graduation gift I'm hoping at some point this year to get a puppy a bichon.
As for the next month and year I am planning on starting my own craft business. I am still working on the details but hopefully i can start soon.
I can't wait this year is looking like this will be the best year I've had in a while.
Now if I could get my certification and then I'm ready to find a actual job where I can at least be home and not feel like I'm never able to be around my family. Although when I think about it I want to work at the hospital so I should be expecting somewhat the same schedule I have with target.
